EXITING ANNOUNCEMENT: A NEW COFFEE TABLE BOOK.
I am thrilled to share that I am embarking on a new project: a coffee table book dedicated to capturing the essence of the farm stands on the Saanich Peninsula. These delightful roadside stands are more than just places to buy fresh produce, eggs, flowers, homemade jams and jellies; they are a testament to the spirit of our community.
Each stand operates on an honour system, where trust prevails as customers leave money in a container to make their purchases. This simple act of honesty reflects the deep-rooted values and connections within our special community on the Saanich Peninsula, where I am proud to call home.
Through a collection of stunning photographs, I aim to tell the stories of the farmers behind these stands, showcasing not only the beautiful products they offer but also the heartfelt dedication they bring to their work. This project is a tribute to the hardworking individuals who contribute to our local food landscape and community spirit.
